Undergraduate Student

I am a 4th year Biomedical Engineering major, expecting to graduate in Spring 2024. I am originally from Camarillo, California, but I chose to study here at UF because of the BME program and the proximity to a lot of my extended family here in Florida. I joined Dr. Williams’ lab in the summer of 2023, where I studied morphological changes in the brain tissue of rats afflicted with traumatic brain injury. I am currently working on my honors thesis project, where I hope to characterize the mechanical properties of porcine dura mater.
